Admin & Settings

Authorized & Definitions Overview

The Authorized & Definitions section in DeskGate is the central area for managing administrative access to the Management panel. This section controls who can access the system, what actions administrators are allowed to perform, and how permissions are distributed across selected groups.

Administrator access in DeskGate is strictly license-based. The number of administrators that can be created depends on the purchased license, ensuring controlled and compliant use of management privileges.

Creating a New Administrator

New administrators can be created by defining basic identity and login credentials. The required information includes name, surname, email address, and password.

Once created, the administrator gains access to the Management panel according to the permissions assigned. This approach ensures that access is both personalized and controlled.

Login Settings and Authorization Control

This section also contains all login-related settings and authorization rules for the Management panel. Administrators can only access features explicitly granted to them, preventing accidental or unauthorized system changes.

By separating administrator identities and permissions, DeskGate supports accountability and secure delegation of management responsibilities.
