The Group Activity section in DeskGate is designed to provide a clear and measurable overview of how users spend their working time on the PC. This module focuses on actual working duration data and presents it in a structured graph table format, enabling organizations to evaluate workforce activity based on real usage rather than assumptions or manual reports.
By aggregating working time data at group level, DeskGate allows administrators to observe overall productivity patterns, compare teams, and understand how work hours are distributed across different users and departments.
DeskGate continuously measures the time users actively work on their PCs and consolidates this information within the Group Activity view. This analysis provides visibility into total working durations, helping organizations understand engagement levels and operational consistency across teams.
Working time analysis enables managers to identify users or groups with unusually high or low activity levels. These insights support workload balancing, operational planning, and performance evaluation based on objective time data rather than subjective impressions.
The Group Activity module includes Top 10 and extended ranking options that highlight users or groups with the highest working times during the selected period. These rankings provide immediate visibility into activity concentration and operational intensity.
Extended ranking views ensure that all users are included in the analysis, not only the most active ones. This comprehensive perspective helps organizations detect long-term trends, underutilized resources, and potential process inefficiencies.
Administrators can select custom date ranges to analyze working time for specific periods such as daily operations, weekly cycles, monthly summaries, or fully customized intervals. This flexibility enables precise comparison of user activity across different time frames.
By comparing working time data across periods, DeskGate helps organizations measure the impact of schedule changes, policy updates, or workload adjustments, supporting data-driven management decisions.
The Group Activity section supports multiple graph visualization types, allowing administrators to change the graph shape based on analytical needs. Different visual formats make it easier to interpret time-based data and identify patterns or anomalies.
Graph customization ensures that both high-level summaries and detailed analytical views can be created from the same dataset, improving clarity and communication of working time insights.
All working time data displayed in the Group Activity section can be downloaded as an Export Excel file. This enables offline analysis, structured workforce reporting, and long-term archiving of activity metrics.
Excel export ensures compatibility with enterprise reporting workflows, audit processes, and management reviews. By combining visual analysis with exportable data, DeskGate Group Activity provides a reliable and enterprise-ready solution for monitoring and evaluating user working times.
